Das Museum untersucht, wie Menschen unter sich verändernden Bedingungen Orientierung herstellen. The museum examines how people establish orientation under changing conditions.

Im Mittelpunkt stehen Fragen der Wahrnehmung, Entscheidung, Handlung und des Übergangs. Its central fields are perception, decision, action and transition.

Die Arbeit des Museums erfolgt in Form von Experimenten, Installationen und Interventionen im öffentlichen Raum. The museum operates through experiments, installations and interventions in public space.

Die einzelnen Stationen sind über eine öffentliche Besucherroute miteinander verbunden und werden fortlaufend dokumentiert. Individual stations are connected through a public visitor route and are continuously documented.

MoTeM entwickelt ein öffentliches Archiv zur Dokumentation von Formen menschlicher Orientierung im 21. Jahrhundert. MoTeM is developing a public archive documenting forms of human orientation in the 21st century.

Derzeit befindet sich die Institution in einer Aufbau- und Forschungsphase. The institution is currently in a phase of development and research.
